Cambodian French Fries

‎...that's what our guide called these fried crickets. We bought a bag of them for $1 (when in Cambodia...) to snack on this afternoon. They were surprisingly tasty! They were first marinated in salt, sugar, lime and spices, then deep fried and finished off with chili peppers and green onion. The big locust was really good but we were picking legs and wings from our teeth for a while! 

A crunchy afternoon snack.
